Bromsgrove Rock School
We are proud of the coaching and instrumental tuition we provide at our Rock Schools. Our professional and qualified team offer encouragement and guidance in a safe and secure environment. Every member of our team is DBS checked and hold their position with us because of the high quality tuition they deliver.
Our Rock Schools are parent free zones where musicians can develop their individual style and mix with students away from their regular school or home environment. They are accessible to all instrumental and vocal styles. Drummers, guitarists, bassists, vocalists, keyboard players and any other instruments are all welcome. We will put students together into bands to create their own material or work on cover versions under expert supervision. Each term consists of 10 sessions and includes an end of term concert where the term's work can be showcased.
Bromsgrove Rock School takes place on Saturdays between 10:30am and 1:30pm and runs during academic terms. We have a Juniors group and a Seniors group, both of which are led by experienced tutors. We meet at St Peter's Catholic First School, Rock Hill, Bromsgrove B61 7LH. Parents are invited to drop their children off with their equipment at the start of the relevant session, and then come back for the last 10 minutes to have a listen before loading up and heading home.

Requirements:
We are happy for any standard of player to attend. We would need a drummer to be able to hold down one or two basic rhythms (nothing fancy!), a guitarist should be able to play a couple of chords and fret basic notes, similar requirements for a bassist, a keyboard player should be able to play a few chords and pick out a basic melody. There is no requirement to be able to read music. Please get in touch if you are unsure about anything.
Students must bring their own equipment. A basic PA system with vocal mics will be provided in each room but all other instruments and amplification must be brought by the students.
Covid-19 Statement:
We continue to operate within government guidelines. If any restrictions are re-introduced that prevent us from running any Spring term sessions they will be rescheduled or carried forward to the following term.
